The Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI) at Hartford HealthCare is an international destination for training, education, research, and medical device development.
With 53,000 square feet located on the Hartford Hospital campus, we have ten simulation rooms that are replicas of acute clinical spaces that utilize high fidelity manikins to teach clinicians from across the care continuum on safe cognitive practice; a large skills lab and robot room that utilize task trainers and simulators to practice procedural psychomotor skills; two large cadavers labs with ten total stations; and three operating rooms with six total stations for live tissue labs.
The entire facility is equipped with advanced audiovisual equipment to offer interactive presentations, high definition live streaming, and recording. Hartford Hospital has 11 operating and procedural rooms with the ability to livestream surgical cases with real time bi-directional communication with the provider and operating room staff.
Leveraging the expertise of providers at the Ayer Neuroscience Institute and the advanced facilities at CESI, Hartford HealthCare is ideally positioned to support your research and development initiatives. Our clinical team treats complex neurological conditions with a wide range of cutting-edge procedures, demonstrating a commitment to education and innovation. We tailor our programs to meet the specific needs of our clients. Procedures can be livestreamed globally with bidirectional communication, or your team can visit our state-of-the-art facilities to learn on tissue models or trainers.
For your programs, CESI can also offer on-site, surface parking for 30 cars available, a private loading dock, 8 classrooms/meeting spaces that can accommodate 3 to 75 participants, and offers services to coordinate hotels, shuttles, food services or event management for receptions.
