Meet Our Eastern Region Men's Health Nurse Navigator

Bethany Buckridge, MSN, RN

As a Nurse Navigator, I am responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering health services to our patients receiving care at Tallwood Men's Health of Eastern CT.

A nurse navigator serves as both educator and advocate for patients while also easing some of the logistical complexities of modern healthcare. I want to assure our male patients they will get the coordinated care they deserve and make their healthcare journey as easy and streamlined as possible.

My job is to:

• Assist with the coordination of care and services and provide support and education throughout their diagnosis.
• Assist scheduling appointments for initial consultations and follow-up visits with other healthcare providers.
• Act as a professional resource and be a liaison between healthcare providers and the patient/family.
• Provide consistent contact for both patient and family throughout the diagnosis and treatment.
• Advocate for patients and help them navigate through the complex healthcare process.
• Serve as a resource and consultant for Men’s Health services as well as develop a presence in the professional and local communities.
