The Sports Medicine rehabilitation team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and certified athletic trainers apply their knowledge and training in sports medicine and exercise science to promote healthier lifestyles.

Sports Medicine rehabilitation team members are committed to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries and the advancement of the science of exercise. From athletes to people with chronic diseases or physical challenges, Sports Medicine rehabilitation team members continue to improve sports performance, injury reduction and promote enhanced movement patterns.

Our approach to injured athletes is to provide a specific detailed diagnosis and a personal rehabilitation plan. The focus is always to help patients return to their desired activities as soon as possible and stronger than ever.

Bridge Program

The Bridge Program is a program after the completion of physical therapy and occupational therapy services, to continue your quality care and strengthening programs under the supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapy assistant, or certified athletic trainer. 

The goals, features of the protocol-based program:

  • Return to Sport
  • Return to Gym
  • Continue Care When Insurance No Longer Covers Services
  • Enhance Sport Performance
  • Improve Speed, Agility, Strength, Flexibility, Balance
  • Analyze Functional Movements
  • Biomechanic and Kinematic Evaluations
  • Pitching Mechanics
  • Sports Specific Protocols and Rehab Programs
  • Injury Prevention/Reduction Programs 

Return to Sport Protocols is a step-by-step scientific and medically-endorsed program that will enhance athletes' ability to return to action at their top level while reducing further risk of injury. 

The program's  phased exercise programs and manually based treatments evidence-based and best practices.

Services include:

  • Functional Movement Screen
  • Individualized Return to Sport Continuation of Care From Completion of Physical Therapy Services

We bridge the gap between injury and returning to the sport you love without the hassle of further denial from insurance companies.

Functional Movement Screens:

  • Identify Individuals at Risk, Who Are Attempting to Maintain or Increase Activity Level
  • Assist in Program Design by Systematically Using Corrective Exercise to Normalize or Improve Fundamental Movement Patterns
  • Provide a Systematic Tool to Monitor Progress and Movement Pattern Development in the Presence of Changing Fitness Levels
  • Create a Functional Movement Baseline Which Will Allow Rating and Ranking Movement for Statistical Observation
