Before Remote Orientation

I don't have internet access or a personal device to complete remote orientation
No problem. Contact your manager or HHC contact as soon as you can. They will make arrangements for you to get computer access so you can complete orientation.

My device can't play sound
Many of the courses have sound, so contact your manager or HHC contact as soon as you can. They will make arrangements for you to get access in another way so you can complete orientation.

Can I complete remote orientation before my start date?
In order to pay you for the time you’re working, you can’t begin before your start date. Please begin and complete the courses in the allotted time on the specified date.

I can’t complete everything the day of my remote orientation; can I do it another time?
Your remote orientation day follows a standard schedule. All new Hartford HealthCare colleagues must participate in orientation during the allotted time. If you don’t finish all of the courses during your assigned time, please stop and contact your manager or HHC contact about finishing them when you report to work. If there’s an extenuating circumstance preventing you from completing your remote orientation on the scheduled date, please contact your manager, HHC contact or recruiter as soon as you can.

What if I can't find my employee ID number?
If you can’t find or didn't receive your employee ID number, you can:

  • Search your emails for an email from “Hartford HealthCare Human Resources {donotreply@careers.hhchealth.org}” - Subject Line: Please Read: Hartford HealthCare - Start Date Reminder. This communication is sent to you 5 days before your start date and contains your Employee ID Number.
  • If you've been working with a Hartford HealthCare recruiter: Contact your recruiter, recruiting assistant, or call the Employee Service Center at 860.696.3500 and select option '0.'
  • Everyone else: Call the Employee Service Center at 860.696.3500 and select option '0.'

What do I do if my job requires a uniform?
Please reach out to your manager or HHC contact and they can assist you with questions about uniforms.

What if I have another job-related question or issue?
Please reach out to your recruiter, manager or HHC contact.

Where do I go the day after orientation?
Your manager or HHC contact should have reached out to you about where to go on your next day of work. If you haven’t heard from them, please contact them right away.

I can't log in to HealthStream
Make sure you entered the correct login information and try again. If that doesn’t work, wait a few minutes, close your browser or application, and try logging in to HealthStream again.

Where do I go the day after orientation?
