APRN Margareth Powell has been my treating Doctor since I moved to Manchester. I was her 4th patient when she first started. If anyone knows me better it would be APRN MargaretPowell. She is good in what she does. It frustrates me when I first started being a patient at Hartford Health Group in Manchester I loved it. When I was sick I would be seen the same day. They would leave time for DR or APRN to see their patients that day and stay opened until 6pm. Now when you are sick you can't seen your own DR or APRN until the next availability your DR. or APRN is available. The DR or APRN no longer work til 6pm to accommodate thoughs who get out of work at 4 or 5 from work. Every time I have an appointment I have to miss 1hr or 2 off work because the Dr and APRN work until 4pm. It just comes to show how Hartford Health Group don't care about their patients. They don't consider about those that work. When it comes down its pure greed on Hartford Hospital.

My experience with primary care physician David Wolpaw was horrible! This was my first visit with this man as my prior primary care physician (PCP) had just retired. I am leaving this honest review, as requested by Hartford Healthcare, to warn other healthcare consumers about physicians like this man with apparently poor abilities at his job, rudeness and lack of professionalism. Here are some details: On my very first visit, in the first few minutes, based on limited information, this PCP started pushing prescription drugs on me. From my regular annual tests over decades and my current fitness level, I am in perfect health due to my healthy lifestyle without taking any medication. In the past, I have been harmed by the side effects of medication (that in hindsight I did not need), so I am careful about meds. When I told him that my other PCPs never pushed drugs on me, he became rude and aggressive. I visited Wolpaw so he could enter my list of annual blood lab tests to Quest Labs so insurance pays for it (like every year). All my prior PCPs had happily requested my blood tests for decades. After I resisted Wolpaw’s aggressive medication push on me, he clearly retaliated by refusing to request the blood tests for me that my prior PCPs had recommended! I then formally complained to Wolpaw’s superiors at HHC. As a result, his superiors immediately assigned me to another PCP who understood my point of view and gladly requested my annual tests. The alternative PCP even told me that I should continue with my healthy lifestyle and congratulated me for remaining healthy without medications. So, consumers should be wary of such “professionals” as David Wolpaw.

I would give Dr. Wolpow zero stars if I could. During my first appointment with him, I found his bedside manner repugnant; he seemed indifferent and judgmental. He doesn't listen to your concerns.

Dr. David Wolpaw has been my primary care physician for over 8 years. He starts every visit by checking on my medications. Then asks about any current problems. He is very resourceful and maintains a calm and efficient attitude during visits.

It was a bad experience for a doctor performing annual physical exams and never torched the patient.
