I knew I liked Dr. Tishler from the webinar, and he was even nicer in person. He did not sugar coat my issues, while also being kind and delicate. I have had doctors shame me in the past and I worried this visit would be the same, but he treated me with humanity and respect.

There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Tishler has given me years to my life. I was so nervous to start the process, but from the beginning he is calm and collected. It really makes you feel better when the man who is going to operate on you is so confident in his skills. With the new diet injections on the scene, I kept thinking I might back out of the surgery. All I could think about was the doctor telling me that this will change my life, but also it will add years to my life for my children who are young. How do you thank someone for such a precious gift?

Dr. Darren Tishler currently serves as the Division Chief of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Hartford Hospital, Chief of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery for Hartford Healthcare, and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
