Airway Training
Basic management to advanced techniques learned using multiple devices

Certification Programs

Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS)

FLS is a comprehensive education module designed to teach the physiology, fundamental knowledge, and technical skills required in basic laparoscopic surgery. The training is composed of a web-based learning module and hands-on skills practice, both of which are assessed at the conclusion of the program in the official FLS Test, conducted at CESI. CESI has 25 FLS trainers who can manage classes of up to 25 trainees at any one time.

The Fundamentals of Robotic Surgery (FRS)

FRS is a comprehensive robotic surgical skills education and training module designed to prepare surgeons with the critical technical skills and tasks necessary to efficiently and safely perform robotic-assisted surgery. Students use an actual OR surgeon console in a virtual reality environment to complete a variety of exercises and scenarios. Every exercise measures user performance, providing detailed scoring and feedback at the case's conclusion.

The Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery (FES)

FES prepares surgeons with the educational foundation needed to perform gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopic surgery. Along with basic technical skills, the comprehensive curriculum covers cognitive skills and sound clinical judgment required for patient safety and quality medical outcomes.
