Celebrating the present and past

On May 9, St. Vincent’s College celebrated its final pinning ceremony, recognizing 26 nurses graduating with an associate degree in nursing. This marked the 116th ceremony since the inception of the St. Vincent’s Nurses Training School in 1905.

Dignitaries from Hartford HealthCare, Sacred Heart University and the Daughters of Charity attended to celebrate the nursing students with their friends and families.

These 2024 graduates have positions in healthcare facilities in communities throughout Connecticut, many of them with St. Vincent’s and Hartford HealthCare.
