What happened:

Kaitlyn was driving home from work when she noticed a man on his hands and knees and in clear distress. She immediately called the hospital operator from her car, and then turned the car around and stayed with the individual until EMS arrived. The patient was able to get the emergency care he needed.

Safety behaviors demonstrated:

Kaitlyn demonstrated attention to detail and practiced a questioning attitude by validating and verifying that the patient was in need of help. She showed compassion and discretionary effort in ensuring that the man got fast and appropriate care.
