What happened:

Julia noticed that a meal delivered to a diabetic patient was missing food items and contained fewer carbohydrates than listed on the meal ticket. The measure of grams of carbohydrates in a meal must be determined in order to give the correct insulin dose. Julia validated and verified the amount of carbs consumed by the patient independently to safely administer insulin to the individual.
