What happened:

Recent supply-chain issues often have forced us to find substitutes for supplies and products familiar to our staffs. One consequence is the possibility that a newly acquired product may look like an older, unrelated item. Maureen recognized the potential for confusion when she realized that the new packaging for Duoneb, a bronchodilator used for respiratory treatments, is similar to that of a saline also used for lung treatment. She quickly escalated her concern so that colleagues would know about the similarity, ensuring that patients get the right product.
