Dr Duran is an exemplary physician. He is knowledgeable, thorough and very professional. This is my second appointment with him . I transitioned to him after Dr Sekerak from that practice retired. I am very pleased to have him for my primary care physician.

I trusted Dr. Christian Duran to arrange an IV saline infusion referral so I could stop paying out of pocket at my current infusion center. For seven weeks he repeatedly told me he could get me into a new clinic in CT with little or no copay — that he just needed to “wait for them to open” or “find their number.” During that time I continued to accrue debt at my existing center. When I pressed his office for an update, staff repeatedly told me he was looking for a contact person. Frustrated, I called the new center myself and was told Dr. Duran had not contacted them at all. When I confronted his office with that information, Dr. Duran then changed his explanation, saying he didn’t feel comfortable sending me there and wanted to consult my past PCP first; my you, he can see all of my past doctors notes and reasons for needing the infusion in Epic. (its a portal where doctors and their staff and see all of your past medical history) Seven weeks were lost based on promises that were never followed through. I needed a timely referral and felt misled and gaslighted by his staff’s responses. If you need a prompt, reliable referral for infusion services, I would look elsewhere.
