Dr. Young is a lifespan Clinical Neuropsychologist involved with training psychology and psychiatry students, residents and fellows. He has a particular interest in increasing psychologist influence across healthcare settings. Clinical and research interests include: risk assessment, forensic assessment, personality assessment, multi-method assessment, determinants of clinical decision making, incremental utility of testing; and traditional neuropsychological topics such as dementia, TBI, and validity testing.
Dr. Young completed his internship and fellowship at the IOL and is board certified in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. He is Assistant Director of Psychology Training at IOL/HH. He manages the psychology testing service and is Director of the Neuropsychology Fellowship.
Dr. Young is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
