Patient & Family Resource Center

The Cancer Institute offers patients, families and visitors helpful resources addressing the many challenges and questions that arise with a new cancer diagnosis.

At Hartford Hospital: A quiet room of resources can be accessed in the Oncology Patient and Family Resource Library, located in the Hartford Hospital Conklin Building, 2nd floor, Room 202. It is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

At The Hospital of Central Connecticut: Resources and internet access available for patients, along with printing capabilities. The Resource Center is open whenever the Cancer Center is open.

At MidState Hospital: A small resource room is located in the Cancer Boutique on the first floor in the Cancer Support Services department. This center has literature but not internet access for patients. The center is generally open for access 9am – 4pm, Monday through Friday.
