World-Class Care from an Interdisciplinary Team

For Job Seekers Join Our Team

The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute’s fellowship-trained physicians are nationally recognized for their level of sophisticated care in areas such as radiation oncology, medical oncology and surgical oncology.

They’re led by Dr. Peter Yu, the physician-in-chief who is a nationally recognized cancer expert and former president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Dr. Andrew Salner, the medical director and radiation oncologist who’s a national champion of CT screening for lung cancer.

Patients are cared for in an environment that emphasizes compassion and personal connections, with a team of trained nurse navigators who provide guidance and support to patients and families, from diagnosis to recovery.

For all of our patients at the Cancer Institute, a dedicated team of oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurses, clinical researchers, technicians and others collaborate to provide the exact course of care they need.

The Institute’s multidisciplinary Disease Management Teams meet and collaborate regularly to lend expertise and insight on numerous cancer types, translating into exceptional coordinated care.

Patients coming through our doors with a cancer diagnosis can count on three things: standardized care, more options and more hope.

Our team’s promise to you: We’ll do everything we can to prove you made the right choice.
