Bio

Dr. Narapareddy completed his intern year at University of Maryland Midtown Campus, where he was named the Transitional Intern of the Year. He completed his psychiatry residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He then pursued further training and expertise through completing a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry also at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After fellowship, Dr. Narapareddy joined the faculty at Emory University School of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Geriatric Psychiatry where he was a consultant to the Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease clinics. He then transitioned to the Institute of Living in 2021. His clinical interests include Traumatic Brain Injury and Neurodegenerative disorders.

An active clinician, researcher, and educator, Dr. Narapareddy evaluates patients on the inpatient adult psychiatry unit and his outpatient Neuropsychiatry consultation clinic where he is a consultant for Sports Neurology. He holds faculty appointments at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is highly engaged in clinical education and works closely with medical students and residents. Through his adjunct appointment at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Narapareddy continues to actively engage in research focused on Brain Health in professional fighters. He continues to publish regularly on Neuropsychiatry related topics. He was recently presented with the Golden Lamp Award for dedication to teaching.
