Bio

Imran Siddiqui, MD, FACS, is a surgical oncologist and hepatopancreatobiliary surgeon with the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute.

His areas of clinical interest include: robotic liver, pancreas and biliary surgery; robotic cancer surgery of the stomach, colon and intestine; gastrointestinal cancer surgery, including sarcoma; ablation surgery and IRE; surgery on benign liver, pancreas and biliary disorders such as pancreatitis, liver tumors, biliary anomalies and stones; and endocrine surgery, including adrenal and neuroendocrine tumors.

Dr. Siddiqui earned a medical degree from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in India. He completed an internship at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, residency at the Memorial University Medical Center, through Mercer University School of Medicine, and a second residency at Carolina's Medical Center through the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, through which he completed a hepatopancreatobiliary surgery fellowship, he is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Hepatopancreatobiliary Association, Clinical Robotic Surgery Association and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
