Tracy Church

Tracy Church is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Hartford HealthCare. 

Mrs. Church has more than 30 years of health care industry experience, especially in employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, rewards and recognition, strategic planning, and learning and organizational development.

She came to Hartford HealthCare from her position as vice president for Human Resources Operations and Compliance at San Francisco-based Dignity Health (formerly Catholic Healthcare West), a system of 42 hospitals and medical centers located throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. In her more than 10 years with Dignity, she held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently providing strategic leadership for the system’s employee and labor relations practice area in addition to her oversight of Dignity’s facility-based HR leaders and generalist support of operations.

Tracy has held HR leadership roles at both for-profit and not-for-profit health care organizations, including those providing long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation and ancillary services. She also has held positions in workers’ compensation and employee benefits administration, as well as in consulting services. 

Mrs. Church  serves on the Board of Directors for Hartford Youth Scholars and is Chair of the Susan G. Komen Foundation (New England affiliate).

Tracy holds a Masters of Arts in organizational management from the University of Phoenix and earned certifications from the Yale School of Management; the Global Leadership in Health Care Program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business; and Sun Healthcare Group’s Executive Program at the Anderson School, University of California at Los Angeles. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Mrs. Church was born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut. She and her husband, Ed, have four grown children and make their home in Hartford, Connecticut.
