Many benefit highly from our prevention and wellness programs, while more than half receive treatment in our evidence-based outpatient and residential programs, including our remarkable Stonegate residential treatment center for adolescent boys.

- Offerings at Rushford’s Glastonbury facility were expanded to include a Professionals Program, focused on working professionals and designed to enhance client skills for coping with high risk situations, increasing the client’s selfefficacy, eliminating myths regarding effects of different substances, managing relapses, and restructuring the client’s perceptions of the relapse process.
- Launched year two of “10 and 10,” a campaign to increase life expectancy of persons with serious mental illness by 10 years over the next 10 years by better coordinating mental health services with primary care services.
- Obtained national certification for Rushford staff to offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), a 12-hour interactive training course designed to give members of the public the key skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
- Reorganized and remodeled the Admissions Center at Rushford’s Silver Street facility to better serve clients when they and their families are most vulnerable.
