MidState Medical Group (MMG) was founded in 2006 based on the desire to create a team of skilled healthcare professionals committed to providing the highest level of quality health care services to the people of central Connecticut. With a team-based approach to healthcare that is focused on the coordination of all aspects of care and supported by the use of the most up-to-date technology available, our group offers a truly comprehensive and holistic approach to the needs of our patients.

MMG boasts more than 20 physicians, 6 physician assistants and 2 advanced practical registered nurses that offer convenient care in a number of specialties, including urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, general surgery, bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic/cardiovascular surgery and neurology. With a specific emphasis on the unique healthcare needs of women, the Women’s Primary Care Specialists office has many years of experience in primary care and women’s health issues.

Founded in 1967, MMG Surgical Specialists is one of the oldest continuously practicing medical groups in the state, with expertise in general surgery, thoracic and vascular disciplines. The ability to offer innovative procedures such as robotic surgery, laparoscopic weight loss procedures and other minimally invasive surgical options puts our surgeons at the forefront of the newest, most advanced technology available. Occupational Medicine is offered to a diverse range of area employers. Based out of the MidState Medical Services building in Wallingford, employers can take advantage of a host of services, such as pre-employment physicals, drug testing, workers' compensation services and other health and wellness offerings.
