Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in Connecticut and Southern New England with over 250 providers practicing in over 30 different specialty areas. The Group maintains offices in almost 50 convenient locations throughout the region. The group provides primary care, urgent care, and inpatient surgical services at Hartford Hospital, Hospital of Central Connecticut, Windham Hospital, and MidState Medical Center.

Physicians of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group maintain their role as innovators of high quality surgical care through their active participation in teaching and research activities. Many of the providers are on the faculty of the University of Connecticut Medical School and are faculty for the Hartford Hospital residency programs. In addition, the group recently developed the Connecticut Surgical Education & Research Foundation in response to a variety of industry and pharmaceutical companies that were interested in partnering to identify ways of improving care.
