Safety is one of our core values and the well being of our patients/clients is our first concern.
Beginning with the 2012 flu season, all employees, including newly employed staff, as well as licensed independent practitioners who come on the premises (with any type of staff privilege), volunteers and students, will be required to get a flu shot. In addition, HHC vendors/contractors who perform work at any HHC facility (for a month or more during flu season) also must receive a flu shot. Only medical and religious exemptions will be allowed, and requests for these exemptions will be carefully evaluated.
